Akismet does a fine job of keeping the spam at bay. Still, keeping a blog dofollow requires courage..as some of the spammers are really very persistent and dofollow blogs are vulnerable.

If you get a link from the keywordluv AND the commentluv on the same post, does Google pass juice through both of those links? Is it simply diluted, or does one of them simply ignored?

The information is very useful to me as I was implementing measures to prevent spam and unknown purposes. It makes my head hurt because of increased traffic flow of spam run but my blog is not small, so the information you provide is the methodology I apply to his blog makes Techooze DoFollow blogs with a comment luv plugin. I’ve been experimenting with CommentLuv on a few of my blogs as well (mainly newer ones) and the results have been good so far. I do notice that it attracts a lot of comments from people in totally unrelated niches, which is fine if people at make an effort to stay on topic. Overall, I’m happy with the way things are going. Hopefully you will be too.
